It’s been a long time since I last wrote here. Honestly, there are days I completely forget this blog even exists. But yesterday, I started scrolling through some of my old posts, and it made me smile. I loved revisiting those memories, the little things I did with my oldest daughter, the moments we shared. It reminded me how nice it is to have those stories written down. I think I want to start keeping a diary again, something my kids can look back on one day, so they’ll always know how much I love them and how special those times were to me. A lot has happened since my last post. Back then, I was pregnant with my second daughter, and now we have three girls! Little M isn’t so little anymore; she’s a teenager now, studying for her GCSEs. My biggest inspiration, the one who taught me all these crafts, my mum, passed away a year and a half ago. I saw this amazing mushroom on Principe Del Crochet`s blog  and fell in love with it. In fact, it was hard to choose from the patterns on the blog but the mushroom reminded me my friend so I made it first. It is such a fun and easy project that you finish within an hour.  A few years ago I knitted  a vest for Little M and it was very popular. Many knitters asked for the pattern but there is not a written one for that vest. I counted the stitches and knitted another one to write the rows. The yellow one is knitted using 2 balls of  Berroco comfort worsted yarn with 5 mm knitting needles. The chest is 60cm and it is 52 cm long and suitable for 4-5 years old. For the second vest I used double knitting yarn and 3.5mm knitting needles. 20 gr of white yarn and 30 gr of mint yarn is left. The chest of the vest is 45 cm and it is 40 cm long and suitable for 2-3 years old. For worsted weight yarn make the button holes in every 12 garter ridges. I love bunnies, such cute and fun animals. That is why I always refer to bunnies when I am talking about my kids. And now good news! Yay for more bunnies! My sister is pregnant and soon we will meet her very own blue bunny. As an auntie I had to make some toys for him. I made a bunny teething ring which   fabric design version is seen all around. I really love the idea, basic but fun! I also made a bunny rattle from Lucia  Lanuka`s pattern which is also very popular. I sent my presents, including  some lovely little man clothes and a blanket I made,  to my sister before he arrives. When I added sleeping dolls photo to my  facebook page  and shared it, I was so surprised and happy to get a lot of interest in them.. It has been one of my favorite patterns. It is easy and quick to make. I also dont like sewing arms, legs and head in amigurumi and this pattern is just my type, it is made in one piece. Baby is on the way, so it is time to celebrate! Baby showers are fun to use the opportunity to find something unique for for the mom-to-be, future dad and the baby. There are endless options for baby shower gifts, you can buy or make it yourself. You can never go wrong with a handmade gift! :) I have pregnant friends and they asked me to make some gift favors for their baby showers. I wanted to make something new and unique. After a few days of dreaming, thinking; watching my two daughters playing and being inspired by them; I made these swaddle dolls. I really love how they turned out. They can be used as key rings, fridge magnet, bag charms etc.. I love small projects which are stash busting and easy to make with in a few hours, sometimes minutes. Last month on our way to grocery shopping I saw big paper clips and they were jumping up and down, singing "buy me, buy me, you will make amazing stuff with me". :) I couldn`t resist their cute song and before my husband noticed, they were in the shopping basket hiding under some lemons. Sometimes I need inspiration to start the projects I want to make. I need to find the right flower / leaf pattern or the right stitch to start with. It usually takes time until it clicks and after that comes the production process. The paper clips were always in front of my eyes and every idea came to my mind didnt seem very good. I wanted to start with a flower bookmark but none of the flower patterns were good for me at that time. I also wanted it to be unique, not just random bookmark. Then one day.. YAY!! There are so many things in my mind about  my etsy shop , business, how to do promotion, products I need to make and so on.. I was drown with the ideas and my long long to do lists. By chance I found out  "rich mum business"  web site by Ranae and after watching her webinars, youtube videos I realized the mistakes I am making over and over.. This time I am getting serious about the business and moving on,  one bite at a time  :) I still have loads of things to do and sometimes 24 hours is not enough for me, especially with two kids :)  I decided to use instagram more active as a promotion for my shop and my products.
