"Bow"tiful vest knitting pattern

A few years ago I knitted  a vest for Little M and it was very popular. Many knitters asked for the pattern but there is not a written one for that vest. I counted the stitches and knitted another one to write the rows.
The yellow one is knitted using 2 balls of  Berroco comfort worsted yarn with 5 mm knitting needles. The chest is 60cm and it is 52 cm long and suitable for 4-5 years old.

For the second vest I used double knitting yarn and 3.5mm knitting needles. 20 gr of white yarn and 30 gr of mint yarn is left. The chest of the vest is 45 cm and it is 40 cm long and suitable for 2-3 years old.
For worsted weight yarn make the button holes in every 12 garter ridges. With double knitting yarn I made the button holes every 10 garter ridges.

k : knit
p : purl
yo : yarn over
k2tog : knit 2 stitches together
c8f : take 4 stitches on cable needle and keep them on the front, knit next 4 stitches and knit 4 stitches on the cable
s1 k2tog psso : slip 1 stitch, knit next 2 stitches together, pass slipped stitch over it

Cast on 168 (47 for right front, 74 for back, 47 for left front)
1- RS: k10, (k2, p2) * Repeat * until you have 10 stitches left, k10
2- WS: k10, (k2, p2)*  Repeat * until you have 10 stitches left, k10
3- RS: k10, (p2, k2)* Repeat * until you have 10 stitches left, k10
4- WS: k10, (p2, k2)* Repeat * until you have 10 stitches left, k10

Repeat these 4 rows until you have 44 garter ridges.

Button hole row : k3, yo twice, k2tog, k3, yo twice, k2tog, (k2, p2) * Repeat * until you have 10 stitches left, k10
WS: k10, (k2, p2)* Repeat * until you have 10 stitches left, k1, drop one yarn over and knit, k4, drop one yarn over and knit, k3

Continue knitting in the same pattern (rows 1-4) until you have 54 garter ridges. We will make  second button holes and set the pattern now.

Knitting Pattern for Ruffle Baby Vest

One of my friends has a baby girl now, I wanted to make something for her and while searching on Raverly I saw a baby vest project . It is not in English, there is an English translation but I really dont know what they try to say. Google translator translate better than that website . I tried to guess how it could be knitted and used numbers on the website translation. Here is the pattern for the ruffle baby vest. Lienemien - Sleeping Dolls Pattern

When I added sleeping dolls photo to my  facebook page  and shared it, I was so surprised and happy to get a lot of interest in them.. It has been one of my favorite patterns. It is easy and quick to make. I also dont like sewing arms, legs and head in amigurumi and this pattern is just my type, it is made in one piece. Thank you very much to  Sil`s corner  for this lovely, cute dolls.  Many people asked for the pattern, I shared the original link from  Sil`s corner  but unfortunately the  pattern is not in English. For myself I used google translator to make it, but here is the English version of it. You will need; - two colors of yarn and a tan color. You can choose any yarn of your stash. Depending in the yarn and hook you use, your doll size might be smaller or bigger. (I use yarn art jeans with 2.5mm crochet hook) - crochet hook, always use one size smaller than the recommended hook so your stuffing wont escape between the stit...

Easy peasy garter stitch vest for baby

This pattern is waiting in my draft list for more than a month. I have finished knitting and writing it but couldn`t take photo for the post. When it is sunny outside, I had things to do at home with kids; when I had time the weather was dark and gray. Better late than never, here is the pattern.. I hope i can publish all other craft projects waiting on my draft list soon :) I used leftover baby yarns from my stash and knitted with 4.00 knitting needles. The gauge and size will change depending on the yarn choice and needle.  The vest is knitted starting from back part, in garter stitch. (Knit on both right and wrong side)  With the yarn and needle I used 5 stiches in garter stitch is 1 inch. The chest of the finished vest is 20 inch which is suitable for 12-18 months old.  WS : wrong side RS : Right side k : knit p : purl yo : yarn over k2tog : knit two stitches together st : stitch Cast on 62 stitches.  Knit 61 garter ridges. (I knitted 10 garte...
